LonWorks®

Puls Design A/S is experienced with developing LonWorks® compatible products of high complexity.  LonWorks® has been developed by the American company Echelon®.

LonWorks® is gaining popularity as an automation bus, field bus and for building automation.  It is built on well defined and well proven techniques.

It is a distributed communication network where each individual node - regardless of it's complexity - holds it's own intelligece in the form of so called dedicated Neuron microcontrollers.  These communicate with each other without a central intelligence making decisions.

In Puls Design A/S we are experienced with developing devices with Neuron chips such as FT3120 and FT3150 for the FTT-10 communication type.

M-BUS (Meter-Bus)

A non-polarised two-wire connection with free topology excelling in high immunity to interference, realible and long range when communicating at modest speeds (10kbit/s).

Modbus

We are experienced with Modbus, both for ready products communicating with Modbus over RS485 or Ethernet.  Furthermore we are experienced with implementing standard compliant Modbus-slaves.

RS232, RS422 og RS485

These three standards are widely used. We use them with third party tools as well as in our own products.
