Production
Puls Design A/S has it's own production of electronics, control units and systems.
For many years we have had a close cooperation with our OEM customers, continuously developing the products.
Our electronics production complies with the demands stated in the RoHS directive:
RoHS (The Restriction of Hazardous Substances) is a directive passed in EU in 2003 and applied from July 2006. The directive was passed to limit the use of 6 hazardous substances used in different types of electrical and electronic equipment. The directive is closely related to the WEEE directive describing the collection- and recycling of hazardous electrical/electronic equipment. The RoHS directive demands that all producers of electronics are not to use following substances:
- lead
- quicksilver
- cadmium
- hexavalent chrome
- polybrominated biphenyl (PBB)
- polybrominated diphenylether (PBDE).
- PBB and PBDE are flame inhibiting substances used in plastics.
All electronics for the EU member countries must be compliant with the restrictions from July 2006.
